Clumping, upright, stiff, warm season grass with blue leaves. Foliage turns burgundy in the summer and beige in the winter. Panicles of finely-textured flowers emerge in fall and turn to purple for winter color. Will spread slightly via rhizomes. Tolerant of drought, erosion, dry or wet soil, and air pollution.
